BEST DOG STORY EVER......

I didn't write this story it came in the mail. As someone who well understands the bond between a human and a dog especially a big dog that becomes almost like a child to you, I couldn't read this story without crying.

 They told me the big black Lab's name was Reggie, as I looked at him lying in his pen. The shelter was clean, no-kill, and the people really friendly.

I'd only been in the area for six months, but everywhere I went in the small college town, people were welcoming and open. Everyone waves when you pass them on the street.

But something was still missing as I attempted to settle in to my new life here, and I thought a dog couldn't hurt. Give me someone to talk to. And I had just seen Reggie's advertisement on the local news. The shelter said they had received numerous calls right after, but they said the people who had come down to see him just didn't look like "Lab people," whatever that meant.

They must've thought I did. But at first, I thought the shelter had misjudged me in giving me Reggie and his things, which consisted of a dog pad, bag of toys almost all of which were brand new tennis balls, his dishes and a sealed letter from his previous owner.

See, Reggie and I didn't really hit it off when we got home.  We struggled for two weeks (which is how long the shelter told me to give him to adjust to his new home). Maybe it was the fact that I was trying to adjust, too. Maybe we were too much alike.

I saw the sealed envelope. I had completely forgotten about that. "Okay, Reggie," I said out loud, "let's see if your previous owner has any advice." 

 

To Whomever Gets My Dog:
Well, I can't say that I'm happy you're reading this, a letter I told the shelter could only be opened by Reggie's new owner. I'm not even happy writing it.

He knew something was different. So let me tell you about my Lab in the hopes that it will help you bond with him and he with you.

First, he loves tennis balls. The more the merrier. Sometimes I think he's part squirrel, the way he hoards them.

He usually always has two in his mouth, and he tries to get a third in there. Hasn't done it yet. Doesn't matter where you throw them, he'll bound after them, so be careful. Don't do it by any roads.

Next, commands. Reggie knows the obvious ones ---"sit," "stay," "come," "heel." He knows hand signals, too: He knows "ball" and "food" and "bone" and "treat" like nobody's business.

Feeding schedule: twice a day, regular store-bought stuff;

the shelter has the brand.

He's up on his shots.

Be forewarned: Reggie hates the vet. Good luck getting him in the car. I don't know how he knows when it's time to go to the vet, but he knows.

Finally, give him some time. It's only been Reggie and me for his whole life. He's gone everywhere with me, so please include him on your daily car rides if you can. He sits well in the backseat, and he doesn't bark or complain. He just loves to be around people, and me most especially. And that's why I need to share one more bit of info with you...His name's not Reggie.

He's a smart dog, he'll get used to it and will respond to it, of that I have no doubt. But I just couldn't bear to give them his real name. But if someone is reading this... well it means that his new owner should know his real name. His real name is "Tank." Because, that is what I drive.

I told the shelter that they couldn't make "Reggie" available for adoption until they received word from my company Commander. You see, my parents are gone, I have no siblings, no one I could've left Tank with... and it was my only real request of the Army upon my deployment to Iraq, that they make one phone call to the shelter... in the "event"... to tell them that Tank could be put up for adoption. Luckily, my CO is a dog-guy too,

and he knew where my platoon was headed. He said he'd do it personally. And if you're reading this, then he made good on his word. Tank has been my family for the last six years, almost as long as the Army has been my family. And now I hope and pray that you make him part of your family too, and that he will adjust and come to love you the same way he loved me.

If I have to give up Tank to keep those terrible people from coming to the US I am glad to have done so. He is my example of service and of love. I hope I honored him by my service to my country and comrades. All right, that's enough. I deploy this evening and have to drop this letter off at the shelter. Maybe I'll peek in on him and see if he finally got that third tennis ball in his mouth.

Good luck with Tank. Give him a good home, and give him an extra kiss goodnight - every night - from me.

************************************************I folded the letter and slipped it back in the envelope. Sure, I had heard of Paul Mallory, everyone in town knew him, even new people like me. Local kid, killed in Iraq a few months ago and posthumously earning the Silver Star when he gave his life to save three buddies. Flags have been at half-mast all summer.
I leaned forward in my chair and rested my elbows on my knees,

staring at the dog.

"Hey, Tank," I said quietly. The dog's head whipped up, his ears cocked and his eyes bright.  "C'mere boy."  He was instantly on his feet, his nails clicking on the hardwood floor. He sat in front of me, his head tilted, searching for the name he hadn't heard in months.

"Tank," I whispered. His tail swished. I kept whispering his name, over and over, and each time, his ears lowered, his eyes softened, and his posture relaxed as a wave of contentment just seemed to flood him.

I stroked his ears, rubbed his shoulders, buried my face into his scruff and hugged him. "It's me now, Tank, just you and me. Your old pal gave you to me." Tank reached up and licked my cheek.

"So whatdaya say we play some ball?" His ears perked again.

"Yeah? Ball? You like that? Ball?"

Tank tore from my hands and disappeared into the next room. And when he came back, he had three tennis balls in his mouth.

If you can read this without getting a lump in your throat or a tear in your eye, you just ain't right.

A veteran is someone who, at one point, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including their life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

A Fable Catching Pigs

CATCHING PIGS

THIS IS THOUGHT PROVOKING.

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some

exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab,

the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept

rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked

the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet

lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his

native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and

install a new communist regime.

In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a

strange question. He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.

The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding

a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs

find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn.

"When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side

of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the

fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of

the fence.

"They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you

have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.

"The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the

gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and

catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom.

They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon

they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they

have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept

their captivity."

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees

happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward

Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of

programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income,

tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to

plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually

lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free

lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you

cheaper than you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem

confronting the future of democracy in America , you might want to send

this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is essential to your

way of life, then you will probably delete this email. But, God help us all

when the gate slams shut!

God's Amazing Accounting System

Some time ago I spoke with an older Shawnee lady who explained to me the calendar one could find on the back of a turtle. She pointed out to me the square scales on the back of the turtle which showed the number of days in a week, months in a year, and the number of days between moons. I never looked at a turtle the same way again. I was always counting to see if they were always the same. They were. No matter the size of the turtle. Then I came upon the following, Author Unknown.

This is fascinating, I've never given most of this a thought!!!!

God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs.

For example:
-the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days;
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.

(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)

God's wisdom is seen in the making of animals as well
An elephant... The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction.. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs... For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.
The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.
A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as well as in the number of grains.

-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas, and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and the next row an odd number.
-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all kinds of weather.
All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundred fold - all even numbers.
God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during the day, so that Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that were open and those that were closed!

The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life. Only the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide them to a profitable end.

I tried to find these excerpts elsewhere so I could email them and tweet them on Twitter but couldn't locate anything, so I'm posting them here. I had nothing to do with writing them, just sharing them with all who would be interested in the comparisons of Presidents and First Ladies as observed by their Secret Service details.

JOHN & JACQUELINE KENNEDY *A philanderer of the highest order. * *She ordered the kitchen help to save all the left-over wine during State dinner, mixed with fresh wine and served again during the next White House occasion.*

*LYNDON & LADYBIRD JOHNSON *Another philanderer of the highest order. In addition, LBJ was as crude as the day is long. Both JFK and LBJ kept a lot of women in the White House for extramarital affairs, and both had set up "early warning systems" to alert them if/when their wives were nearby. Both Kennedy & Johnson were promiscuous and oversexed men. * *She was either naive or just pretended to "not know" about her husband's many liaisons. *

*RICHARD & PAT NIXON *A "moral" man but very odd, weird, paranoid, etc. He had horrible relationship with his family, and in a way, was almost a recluse.* *She was quiet most of the time.*

*SPIRO AGNEW * Nice, decent man, everyone in the Secret Service was surprised about his downfall. *

*GERALD & BETTY FORD *A true gentlemen who treated the Secret Service with respect and dignity. He had a great sense of humor. **She drank a lot!*

*JIMMY & ROSALYN CARTER *A complete phony who would portray one picture of himself to public and very different in private, e..g., would be shown carrying his own luggage, but the suit cases were always empty; he kept empty ones just for photo op's. Wanted the people to see him as pious and a non-drinker, but he and his family drank alcohol a lot. He had disdain for the Secret Service, and was very irresponsible with the "football" nuclear codes. He didn't think it was a big deal and would keep military aides at a great distance. Often did not acknowledge the presence of Secret Service personnel assigned to serve him.* *She mostly did her own thing.*

*RONALD & NANCY REAGAN *The real deal --- moral, honest, respectful, and dignified. They treated Secret Service and everyone else with respect and honor. Thanked everyone all the time. He took the time to know everyone on a personal level. * One "favorite" story which has circulated among the Secret Service personnel was an incident early in his Presidency, when he came out of his room with a pistol tucked on his hip. The agent in charge asked: "Why the pistol, Mr. President" He replied, "In case you boys can't get the job done, I can help." It was common for him to carry a pistol. When he met with Gorbachev, he had a pistol in his briefcase. Upon learning that Gary Hart was caught with Donna Rice, Reagan said, "Boys will be boys, but boys will not be Presidents." [He obviously either did not know or forgot JFK's and LBJ's sexcapades!]**She was very nice but very protective of the President; and the Secret Service was often caught in the middle. She tried hard to control what the President ate, and he would say to the agent "Come on, you gotta help me out." The Reagans drank wine during State dinners and special occasions only; otherwise, they shunned alcohol; the Secret Service could count on one hand the times they were served wine during their "family dinner". For all the fake bluster of the Carters, the Reagans were the ones who lived life as genuinely moral people.*

*GEORGE H. & BARBARA BUSH *Extremely kind and considerate Always respectful. Took great care in making sure the agents' comforts were taken care of. They even brought them meals, etc. One time Barbara Bush brought warm clothes to agents standing outside at Kennebunkport; one agent was given a warm hat, and when he tried to nicely say "no thanks" even though he was obviously freezing, President Bush said "Son, don't argue with the First Lady, put the hat on." He was the most prompt of the Presidents. He ran the White House like a well-oiled machine.**She ruled the house and spoke her mind.*

*BILL & HILLARY CLINTON *Presidency was one giant party. Not trustworthy --- he was nice because he wanted everyone to like him, but to him life is just one big game and party. Everyone knows of his sexuality.* *She is another phony. Her personality would change the instant cameras were near. She hated with open disdain the military and Secret Service. She was another one who felt people are there to serve her. She was always trying to keep tabs on Bill Clinton.*

*ALBERT GORE * An egotistical ass, who was once overheard by his Secret Service detail lecturing his only son that he needed to do better in school or he "would end up like these guys" --- pointing to the agents.*

*GEORGE W. & LAURA BUSH *The Secret Service loved him and Laura Bush. He was also the most physically "in shape" who had a very strict workout regimen. The Bushes made sure their entire administrative and household staff understood to respect and be considerate of the Secret Service. *She was one of the nicest First Ladies, if not the nicest; she never had any harsh word to say about anyone.*

*KARL ROVE was the one who was the most caring of the Secret Service in the administration.*

*BARACK & MICHELLE OBAMA *" Clinton all over again" - hates the military and looks down on the Secret Service. He is egotistical and cunning; looks you in the eye and appears to agree with you, but turns around and does the opposite---untrustworthy. He has temper tantrums.* *She is a complete bitch, who hates anybody who is not black; hates the military; and looks at the Secret Service as servants.*

My observation and a question. Is this huge discrepancy between Republicans and Democrats really this huge or is it just confirming what we already know from observations of ordinary Republicans and Democrats.  Republicans are kind and caring and Democrats are hateful and mean. 

At this point I'm wondering why anybody would vote for such mean people.  A taxpayer voting for Obama is like a chicken voting for Col. Sanders

‘You Must Be Like Sharks That Smell Blood In the Water & You Must Attack’

We are responsible for where we find ourselves. We kept seeing what was happening, but we relied on "someone" to do something about it. We thought "they" won't let that happen. We are "they" and we did let it happen. It is up to us now to be Vigilant.

I found this on line written by Allen West:Like Allen West says, we must be like sharks that smell blood in the water and tell others about every violation you see of our Constitutional Rights, every time you see someone who should know better breaking the law, whether it's the President of the United States or a local official.

Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is known for his fiery — and fearless — commentary. In a speech he delivered to the Broward Republican Executive Committee in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the congressman delved into many of the challenges facing the nation. He encouraged the audience to "fight back against…liberal progressivism" and he accused those on the left of attempting to create fear and separation among Americans.

West commenced the speech by speaking about some of the protesters who had assembled outside of his address at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six Fort, referring to them as "chuckleheads."

"A chucklehead is a person who is so inept and incompetent that all you can do is look at them and laugh," West said.

But he didn’t spend long describing his detractors, as he moved on to the economy and some of the progressive values he believes are dangerous to the nation’s survival.

"This is a moral discussion we’ve having in this country, because we‘re talking about what we’re going to leave for our children and grandchildren," West said, going on to share his feelings about American liberals. "I feel sorry for them because for whatever reason they don’t know the essence of the greatness of the United States of America."

In discussing these issues, the congressman encouraged the audience to take part in the ideological battlefield that will inevitably determine who controls the nation’s political landscape.

"You must be like sharks that smell blood in the water and you must attack," he told the audience. "Ladies and gentlemen, you don’t win on defense. You win on offense."

This is the most incredible speech, ever. Allen West comes out swinging hard against the left and doesn’t stop until his speech is over. He hits the left over their collectivist ideology. He hits them over their collectivist policies. And he encourages Republicans to "find the enemy and fight them wherever they are" just like American paratroopers from the 101st and 82nd airborne did the night before D-day.

We must be vigilant and not allow it to happen again. Our very way of life is being threatened. We cannot allow Obama to be elected again. He has a plan for the destruction of our way of life. For turning us into a Communist country.

Much has already been destroyed. Big Industry and small industries are almost done for in the USA. This isn't just Obama, it's stuff that's been going on for years. We must return to American made products. Do without or make do with what we've got. Repair and recondition American made products. We are still prosperous. Look around you. We have many things Americans didn't have just 90 years ago coming out of the Great Depression. We are rich. Count your Blessings, pick up and keep on keeping on.

But don't fall into the Socialist/Communist trap that Big Government can take care of us. We are going to have to take care of ourselves. And we can. We must cut government spending by reducing over-regulation by agencies like Homeland Security, Dept. of Education, Obamacare, and the EPA. We don't need someone else telling us that cows poop & make gas! Don't you imagine the Good Lord took care of all of those things?! Do you know the EPA has demanded that farmers fence off access to natural waterways so the animals can't get to them, because they might poop in the creek?!! Ridiculous! Over-regulation is being done by people who have nothing better to do with their time than think up ways to control something! The EPA even wanted to regulate the DUST made by farmers when they plow!

We're going to have to start over with a lot of things. We are going to have to invent jobs. We are going to have to encourage new industry in America. America is God's experiment in Freedom. We will survive and prosper.

THE WASHINGTON POST FINALLY GOT IT! MAYBE...

I copped this from the Washington Post, one of the most liberal newspapers in America.  Considering the source.....this is refreshing!  It is very powerful, and to the point!

The Washington Post has always had a  reputation for being extremely liberal, so the fact  it's even in their paper is truly amazing. Perhaps POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IS FINALLY BEING SEEN FOR WHAT IT IS, AN ATTACK ON THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION! FREEDOM OF SPEECH!  Finally something about this radical Socialist/Communist President and his actions that are destroying our way of life.

Government & Society

"Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack  Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages.

"How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional  accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the  world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military,
execute the world's most consequential job? Imagine a future historian  examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the  Ivy League despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way;  a cushy non-job as a "community organizer"; a brief career as a state  legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly  devoid of his attention, so often did he vote "present") ; and finally  an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety  of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

"He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature  legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor"; a real-life, actual  terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor. It is  easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on  Earth was such a man elected president?

"Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz  addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be  sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken  hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist  like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama  was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberaldom to have  hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if  they were a bit extreme, he was given a pass. Let that sink in: Obama  was given a pass - held to a lower standard - because of the color of his skin.

"Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history  matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself  had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance  to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of  racism to rest?

"Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the  Obama phenomenon -affirmative action. Not in the legal sense, of  course. But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all  affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily  to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.

"Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat  themselves on the back. Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools  for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the  inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow.  Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self esteem  resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin - that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that  isn't racism, then nothing is.

"And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many  have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois ; he was told  he was odd [sic] enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was  good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

"What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people - conservatives  included - ought now to be deeply embarrassed.

"The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of cliches, and that's when he has his teleprompter in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.

"Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth - it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years.

"And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence.

"But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible  for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

"In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.

"When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not have  gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office."

I hope all my Democrat friends and relatives, let alone the ones who declare themselves "Progressive/Liberals" (which in my mind is Socialist/Communist) have the intelligence (as opposed to "intellectualism") to have already seen the truth of this article long prior to its publication!  I hope to God they are not still drinking Obama's poisoned KoolAid or burying their heads in the sand with the distorted belief that there are people smarter than they are who truly understand (intellectuals) why they elected this man President.  I pray they will use their good sense to vote him out.

I'll end this with the prayer I pray every morning, noon and night.  Positive Prayer:  Thank you God for Restoring America's Freedom & Prosperity and for taking whatever steps You find necessary to remove those who would enslave us and steal our Freedoms.  Thank you God for restoring our Constitutional Freedoms as envisioned by the Founders.  Amen.

OUR FREEDOMS & RIGHTS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR

Back before the 08 election I kept asking everyone: Are you really willing to sell out your freedoms in return for a Stimulus Check for $250?!! Lots of people voted for Obama because he made empty promises. People were lured by Greed into voting for him. It's time to face the facts. What comes out of the man's mouth are lies!

At some point in one's life, one must face the facts that We are Each Responsible For Where We Find Ourselves! Whether it's the fact of turning away from the responsibility to face those facts, or whether it's hiding our heads in the sand when danger to our way of life is right in front of us, doing nothing is as bad as doing the wrong thing. Failing to consider facts is a dangerous thing in these times.

We are being attacked from within. Communism has crept into America disguised as many things. Political Correctness is one of the tools Communism has used to begin to Destroy our Freedom of Speech. The words of our own Constitution have been twisted by Communists to destroy our Right to Worship as we please.

Even though the Ten Commandments are carved in stone on many of our national monuments Communists are bent on destroying our Right to have carved them there. You hear about "creeping Sharia", of how it is Muslims trying to take over America. This is a distraction to deflect you from noticing, though there are more Muslims in America than previously, it is Communism that is taking over America! It began years ago and it was announced by Nikita Kruschev in 1960's.

Others have said we would be occupied by Communists from within. They had many goals. I insert them here:

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

It's time to face the facts: of the 45 issues listed, nearly all of them have come to pass. Remember this was in January 1963.

We relied upon the Mainstream Media to keep us advised of what was going on. They stopped doing that. They did not investigate the credentials of the man currently in the oval office. They did not warn us.

It is apparent they have gained control of the schools. In college courses in the 60's I saw it coming. I thought the instructors pushing Socialism/Communism were just a minority and they were weird. I thought "they" won't let that happen.

American history is not being taught in truth. It is being distorted. In the 90's when my son was in high school he came home telling me that Angela Davis was a black heroine! I screamed! "What are they teaching you?!" I explained to him that Angela Davis was a criminal. I began then making sure he used his brain to figure things out, not to let "teachers" skew his understanding of American history. He strayed for a couple of years over to the Wrong side, but he's back on the Right side stronger than ever.

I believe the saving of America will occur because of the faith this country was built upon. Faith in God. It doesn't matter what denomination it is, but true faith in the One God will restore American freedoms. I just believe we need to "pray positive" and rather than focusing on the negatives (and bringing them to us) we need to focus on the positives and bring to America the good things of our past, the good things of history, and the love the founding fathers had for our country to restore our Freedom & our Prosperity Under God.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU: GOD, THE UNIVERSE & SYNCHRONCITY

Synchronicity is an interesting subject. I look at synchronicity as events that occur, as if by chance, but not by chance...events that occur because of who we are, what we are thinking, how the "atoms" of our existence rub against the "atoms" of everyone and everything else. My concept of religion and the universe is somewhat strange. For a year or so I worked in the Organic Chemistry Department at the University of Illinois. Part of my job was drawing the shapes and stuff that went with the organic chemical formulae. I never knew what they all meant, and anything I learned I learned sort of by osmosis. I learned a lot about DNA and RNA back in 1961 and 1962. That's what they were working on back then, and I typed the papers that were bound into journals and mailed out across the country to other scientists who were interested in the subject. That was a sort of synchronicity in itself. The process of looking at those chemical formulae and symbols made me look at the symbol for the atom more closely. One of the first things I really noticed about the "structure" of an atom, was that it was also the model of the "structure" of the universe. I learned there was energy in the center of an atom. That lead me to believe there was also energy in the center of the universe...or rather in the center of all the universe(s) that exist. That all of the planets in a solar system were whirling around the universe like atoms whirling around the nucleus of a cell, and that there might be other solar systems whirling around within the universe, and I reasoned that at the very center of all of these whirling solar systems there was an Energy holding it all together. And, just as in an atom, each of the neutrons whirling around are "connected" to the center and to one another, that the same is true of the solar systems. When I saw the very first Star Wars movie, I fully understood the concept of The Force. I wondered how many others understood that the concept was very basically that the Energy was the Universal Force. It was God. That every thing in the Universe is connected to every other thing in the Universe with tendrils of this Energy, all going back to the Universal Energy. God is the Source of All that there is. Call God Energy or Force if it makes you more comfortable. But the Force is at the Center of the Universe. You can use the Force for evil if you want, but evil never wins in the end, and the User of the Energy reaps the seeds of their use of the Force. If one uses it to gain power over others, it will reflect back on you and ultimately make you Powerless. If you use it for Love and Good toward others, it will reflect back Love and Good toward you. May the Force be with you. Use it in the Right way.

TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001, because

Every time I post something about the Obama's and their goals being to turn America into a Communist country, the first thing the unbelievers say is "They wouldn't let that happen!" Who the heck are "they"? Well "they" used to be the mainstream media who would vet our political candidates for office, and "they" used to be the people we sent to Washington, D. C. And "they" used to be the people we could count on "not to let 'that' happen". But something entered the equation to change all of that. Political Correctness.

All of a sudden Political Correctness prevented the mainstream media from telling Americans what was going on. At the same time the mainstream media was being populated with more and more Progressive Liberals. Now percentage-wise there are more Conservatives in America than there are Progressive Liberals. However, Progressive Liberals are controlling the Mainstream Television Media. Suddenly it becomes Politically Incorrect to question a Presidential Candidate who happens to be black! They will not question where he came from. They don't demand that he disclose his records even though George Bush had to disclose EVERYTHING, including his military records from many years prior to his running for office.

But it is Politically Incorrect to even Ask for information about a black person who was relatively unknown prior to the year 1999! Why? Because if you question his credentials you will be accused of being Racist! It's not Politically Correct to ask.

So What's happened in the meantime? We have a Communist in the White House. Why isn't anyone telling us this? Because it is "politically incorrect" to do so! Significant Damage has already been done to the fabric of American freedoms. Some of Our elected Congressional Representatives have been intimidated into quitting. Actions have been taken to remove those people from office who would step in to rescue America. Viable Candidates who could rescue America are being attacked unmercifully by the corrupted mainstream media.

"He is gifted at twisting his verbiage in such a way as to deform the truth. In his speech at the Democratic National Convention, he spoke of “… measuring up to the legacy of our forbearers.” While that may sound good, there is a discernable difference between “forbearers” and the Founding Fathers of our country.

"Obama’s forbearers are Kenyan, and it is alleged his grandfather was a slave owner. His reference to “forbearers” had nothing to do with those who sacrificed their lives life to establish a free society based on equality.

"His statements were code omitting same, referencing instead an Afro-centrism and Pan Africanism. It was a deliberate attack against the foundation of our country and what we represent.

Another trademark of uber-liberal socialists like Lord Obama is complete disregard for human life – especially the lives of the elderly, physically challenged and the unborn. Or in Obama’s case, even the “Live-born abortion victims.” He claimed his reason for not supporting SB1093, the “Born Alive Infant Protection Act,” was the measure didn’t include the “life and health of the mother” provision.

"A question that begs an answer is where, exactly, does the threat to the mother lie in said infant protection? Interestingly enough, Obama refused to support two bans which did include exceptions for safety of the mother. So his refusal to support anti-partial-birth abortion bills HB382 and SB230 comes as no surprise.

"He also refused to support SB1095, which creates a cause of action for harm or neglect that comes to a child “born-alive” after a labor-induced abortion. Add to that his “no” vote on SB1661, also part of the “Abortion Alive Protection Act,” which created the “Induced Birth Infant Liability Act.”

"His positions on crime, sex education for grades K-5, homosexual marriage and taxes are out of the mainstream of the so-called liberal mainstream.

"Obama embraces the darkest interests of the uber-liberal socialist. It can be argued there are worse things than a Clinton ticket in 2008 – and any ticket with Barack Obama on it is one of them. (2004)"

It's Obvious no one in the Mainstream Media listened to this Conservative Black Man in 2004, and they don't want to listen now. They along with others who like to take on the mantle of "intellectual" by following them, refuse to believe the Progressive Liberals are actually Communists!

Celebrities Political Views - A Turn Off?

Celebrities touting their views on politics and religion turn me off. Do they really think they're so important that their views are going to change our views? Yes they do! Do they change our views? I think they do, but most of the time all they change is our views of them to a negative. Those celebrities who share their views on politics have been known to turn me against them for that very reason.

Let's take Barry Manilow. I love his songs. I'm not sure I think much of his political views, and I'd just as soon he kept them to himself, so I could keep on enjoying his songs.

Let's take Sally Field's views on religion. I used to just love Sally Field, but I lost complete respect for her when she voiced her opinions about God's place in her winning an award.

I don't understand the intense hatred that exudes from people expressing their political views for the "other party". Don't they understand their hatred only reflects on themselves? I do feel there is a plus for the side I encourage, inasmuch as the intense hatred spewed by those on the other side merely intensifies the happenings of that which they don't want. It's how the Universe works!!

Be for the ones you want to win. Bless those you don't want to win. Bless those who express the anger against "your side" for their Universal support, even though they don't really mean to be working for your side.

PETA vs BIKERS

What a wonderful coming together of two diverse groups!
We need more gatherings where the idiot activists are given warm, moist, aromatic welcomes like this one. This is why PETA usually protests women wearing fur rather than bikers wearing leather. Sounds to me like the old saying, "you mess with the bull, and you get the horns".
Gee, I guess these characters thought that Bikers were going to be 'politically correct' like the rest of the wimpy world.
HERE'S HOW POLICE FOUND ONE OF THEM.


Johnstown, PA (GlossyNews) - Local and state police scoured the hills outside rural Johnstown, Pennsylvania, after reports of three animal rights activists going missing after attempting to protest the wearing of leather at a large motorcycle gang rally this weekend. Two others, previously reported missing, were discovered by fast food workers "duct taped inside fast food restaurant dumpsters," according to police officials.

"Something just went wrong," said a still visibly shaken organizer of the protest. "Something just went horribly, horribly, wrong." The organizer said a group of concerned animal rights activist groups, "growing tired of throwing fake blood and shouting profanities at older women wearing leather or fur coats," decided to protest the annual motorcycle club event "in a hope to show them our outrage at their wanting to use leather in their clothing and motor bike seats." "In fact," said the organizer, "motorcycle gangs are one of the biggest abusers of wearing leather, and we decided it was high time that we let them know that we disagree with them using it, ergo, they should stop."

According to witnesses, protesters arrived at the event in a vintage 1960's era Volkswagen Van and began to pelt the gang members with balloons filled with red colored water, simulating blood, and shouting "you're murderers" to passers by. This, evidently, is when the brouhaha began.

"They peed on me!!!" charged one activist. "They grabbed me, said I looked like I was French, started calling me 'La Trene', and duct taped me to a tree so they could pee on me all day!"

Still others claimed they were forced to eat hamburgers and hot dogs under duress. Those who resisted were allegedly held down while several bikers "farted on their heads."

Police officials declined comments on any leads or arrests due to the ongoing nature of the investigation; however, organizers for the motorcycle club rally expressed "surprise" at the allegations.

"That's preposterous,"said one high-ranking member of the biker organizing committee. "We were having a party, and these people showed up and were very rude to us. They threw things at us, called us names, and tried to ruin the entire event. So, what did we do? We invited them to the party! What could be more friendly than that? You know, just because we are all members of motorcycle clubs does not mean we do not care about inclusiveness. Personally, I think it shows a lack of character for them to be saying such nasty things about us after we bent over backwards to make them feel welcome."

When confronted with the allegations of force-feeding the activists meat, using them as ad hoc latrines, leaving them incapacitated in fast food restaurant dumpsters, and 'farting on their heads,' the organizer declined to comment in detail.
"That's just our secret handshake," assured the organizer.

INDIANA RULES

The Rules for rural Indiana are...............

1. Pull your droopy pants up. You look like an idiot.

3. Let's get this straight; it's called a 'dirt road.' I drive a pickup truck because I want to. No matter how slow you drive, you're going to get dust on your Lexus. Drive it or get out of the way.

4. They are cattle. They're live steaks. That's why they smell funny to you. But they smell like money to us. Get over it. Don't like it? I-94 & I-70 goes east and west, I-69 goes north and south. Pick one.

5. So you have a $60,000 car. We're impressed. We have $150,000 corn pickers and hay balers that are driven only 3 weeks a year.

6. So every person in rural Indiana waves. We think of it as being friendly. Try to understand the concept.

7. If that cell phone rings while an 8-point buck and 3 does are coming in, we WILL shoot it out of your hand. You better hope you don't have it up to your ear at the time.

8. Yeah, we eat taters & gravy, beans & cornbread. We fry our fish after catchin' 'em. You really want sushi & caviar? It's available at the corner bait shop.

9. The 'Opener' refers to the first day of deer season. It's a religious holiday held the 15th of November.

10. We open doors for women. That is applied to all women, regardless of age.

11. No, there's no 'vegetarian special' on the menu. Order steak. Or you can order the Chef's Salad and pick off the 2 pounds of ham & turkey.

12. When we fill out a table, there are three main dishes: meats (includes fish), vegetables, and breads. We use four spices: salt, pepper, hot sauce and ketchup. Oh, yeah.... We don't care what you folks in Cincinnati call that stuff you eat... IT AIN'T REAL CHILI!!

13. You bring 'coke' into my house, it better be brown, wet and served over ice.

14. You bring 'Mary Jane' into my house, she better be cute, know how to shoot, drive a truck, and have long hair.

15. College and High School Football is as important here as the Lakers and the Knicks, and a dang site more fun to watch.

16. Yeah, we have golf courses. But don't hit the water hazards -- it spooks the fish.

17. Colleges? We have them all over. We have State Universities, Community Colleges, and Vo-techs. They come outta there with an education plus a love for God and country, and they still wave at everybody when they come for the holidays.

18. We have a whole ton of folks in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. So don't mess with us. If you do, you will get whipped by the best.

19. Turn down that blasted car stereo! That thumpity-thump crap ain't music, anyway. We don't want to hear it anymore than we want to see your boxers. Refer back to #1.

20. 4 inches isn't a blizzard - it's a flurry. Drive like you got some sense in it, and DON'T take all our bread, milk, and toilet paper from the grocery stores. This ain't Alaska , worst case you may have to live a whole day without croissants. The pickups with snow blades will have you out the next day.

21. No matter what Obama does, when the Star Spangled Banner is being played, we either salute or place our hands over our hearts, while we FACE the U.S. flag.

22. We don't care if you come from a foreign country and want to settle in our community. Just come here legally and learn the language.

23. Before you decide to break into our homes, remember that we have the right to bear arms...........and we do it.

24. And keep in mind that we won't necessarily wait until you're inside. (refer back to #23)

MORNING.

FIFTY YEAR OLD MANURE SPREADER - $1 (WASHINGTON, D.C.)

Fifty-year old manure spreader. Not sure of brand. Said to have been
produced in Kenya. Used for a few years in Indonesia before being
smuggled into the US via Hawaii. Of questionable pedigree. Does not
appear to have ever been worked very hard. Apparently it was pampered
by various owners over the years. It doesn't work very often, but
when it does it can really spread the manure and sling it for amazing

distances. I am hoping to retire this manure spreader next November.
But I really don't want it hanging around getting in the way. I would
prefer a foreign buyer that is willing to relocate this manure
spreader out of the country. I would be willing to trade this manure
spreader for a nicely framed copy of the United States Constitution.
